New releases from Milk Kan and Malcolm Kaksois

August 24th sees the release of two new Blang releases:

Milk Kan’s new single is ‘Don’t Panic’ b/w ‘Who Broke Susan Boyle?’ (BLANG 21). It’s available as a download-only. It sports a great ‘Blang News’ cover and has been played several times on national radio with Tom Robinson hailing the B side as ’genius’. The A side revels in the chorus hook ‘Don’t panic/I’m only Islamic’. The band then head out on the Blang mini-tour over August Bank Holiday before playing three shows in Holland in September.

Malcolm Kaksois, one of Blang’s best kept secrets, whose Sexy Dentist orange vinyl single provoked a mixture of devotion and outright hostility, releases album ‘The Introduction Of A Pest’ as a download though Blang (BLANG 20) also on August 24th.. Also available as a CD through the Electric label. The album cover features an iconic image of Malcolm as a cockroach which is available as a tee shirt at his gigs. He plays the Manchester leg of the Blang trip north.
